- It’s completely normal to feel uninspired from time to time.
- Important to take a step back and reconnect.
- Hitting stuck points in life or business and being uninspired is part of the creative process.

- Are you stuck because you’re forcing yourself?
- Step #1: Ask questions: “Why am I uninspired? Why do I feel resistance? Am I forcing myself to do something I don’t want to do?”
- Step #2: Give yourself permission to do something different and try something new.
- New doors start to open. New ideas pop into our minds.
- Find inspiration by getting out of your routine.
- New workout, new walking path, ride bike to work instead of driving.
- Try planning your day differently or working at a different location.
- Step #3: Write down inspired thoughts/ideas when they come to you.
- You might be walking, hiking, at the beach, riding a train, traveling etc.

- Step #4: Change your perspective by looking at things from a different point of view.

- Sometimes you have to look at things from a different angle and get your hands dirty to tap into your greatest potential and creativity.
- Step #5: Become more aware of the flashes of inspiration that you get on a daily basis.
- Be mindful of the ideas that pop into your mind.
- Instead of dismissing your ideas, think process and brainstorm ways you can make it work.
- Like a painter by the time they complete the canvas, it may turn out different than what they originally thought
- One idea can lead to many ideas and your business can evolve over time.
- Give yourself permission to play with your flashes of inspiration and be creative.
- Step #6: Seek out a change of scenery.
- Take a weekend trip. Travel somewhere new.
- Pay attention to how other people run their businesses.
- If you’re a writing, seeing new places can inspire your future writing.
- Ideas of ways to a change of scenery: Go to a museum, Zoo, farm, big city, check out other websites or examples of marketing.
- Step #7: Stop trying so hard to be inspired.
- To find inspiration in business and life, we must open our minds to all possibilities.
- Allow yourself to step outside the box.
- Give yourself some time and space rather than forcing yourself to be inspired.
- Continue to take action even when you’re not inspired.
- Step #8: Trust your instincts.
- You might be inspired, you might have a great idea, but then you dismiss your ideas because you don’t trust yourself.
